Description
The Case of the Angry Ghost: Violet and the Velvets Book 2 by Rachael King follows Violet and her band as they make it to BandChamps!
Armed with their own songs, they're competing alongside their school rivals, The Alphas, for glory.
But wait! Strange goings-on are afoot at the Royal Theatre, where it's rumoured a grumpy ghost ballerina haunts the stage.
Can Violet and her friends solve the mystery of the angry ghost? And how can they possibly win when they're all feeling so spooked?
It's going to take courage, detective work, and a lot of creative thinking: have they got what it takes?

Rachael King is the author of Violet & The Velvets: The Case of the Missing Stuff and two stand-alone middle-grade novels, Red Rocks (now a major television series) and The Grimmelings. She began performing at fifteen years old, only six weeks after she first picked up a bass, and went on to play with six bands, including The Cakekitchen and 3Ds. Rachael invented Violet and the Velvets to convey the joy of the DIY punk ethos and to show girls they don't have to be singers or proficient musicians to be in a band.
