Description

King of Tokyo: Origins is a standalone game in the King of Tokyo series designed to serve as an entry point for new players, offering a smaller and more affordable package. This game includes four new monsters, a mix of new and older power cards, energy cubes, and green dice featuring yellow characters.

2-4 Players | 30 Mins | Age 8+

The gameplay remains consistent with the original game: to win, be the first to score 20 points or remain the only creature standing.

During your turn, roll six dice displaying six symbols: 1, 2, or 3 points, energy, heal, and attack. Over three successive throws, decide whether to keep or discard each die to win points, gain energy, restore health, or attack other players. If you launch an attack, and you're outside Tokyo, you hit the player in Tokyo; if you're in Tokyo, you hit everyone else! Players with their health reduced to 0 are out of the game. While in Tokyo, you cannot heal damage, and the only way to leave is if someone attacks you, potentially placing you at death's door.

As you gain energy, store it in cubes and use these to purchase power cards, which provide either permanent or temporary effects.
