Description
Nga Wira o te Pahi begins with "Ko nga wira o te pahi ka taka-huri-huri . . ." This well-known song now takes us on a journey across the beautiful landscapes of Aotearoa, where you might recognise some of the passengers: Kiwi, Hoiho, Tuatara, Piwakawaka, and many more.
Hop on the bus and join the song!
This delightful picture book for young children, created by Donovan Bixley, is a favourite in Aotearoa. Bixley is renowned for some of his other popular titles, such as Te Pamu o Koro Meketanara (Old MacDonald's Farm) and Looky Book, both of which are top-sellers in Aotearoa.
With the same gorgeous illustrations as the original book, the te reo Maori translation by Ross Calman retains the humour and vibrancy of the classic English-language edition.
